About Camps at Refuge Aerial

WHERE

Camps take place at Refuge Aerial, located at 6031 Fieldstone Drive in Baton Rouge (In the Industriplex area near Siegen and Airline). Our building is surrounded by a fence, allowing for a safe and semi-private outdoor play area. Inside, our camps spend time in our lobby area, aerial studio, and this year’s camp will enjoy an additional space in our Movement Studio.

WHO

Our camps are open to all children ages 5-12.

WHEN

We typically provide Spring Break and partial-Summer camps each year. Specific camp dates can be found on our Camp Registration page.

Parents are able to drop off their children any time after 7:30 AM and pick up any time before 5 PM. We usually begin our group activities around 9 AM and wrap up around 4 PM.

WHAT

Here’s the fun part! Each day usually revolves around a specific circus theme. This could be an apparatus, a performer, or a specific discipline. Throughout the week, we will provide aerial and circus lessons with our certified instructors. This may include lessons in aerial silks, sling, lyra, trapeze, tumbling, juggling, hula hooping, and acro. We also keep a daily routine that consists of arts and crafts, outdoor play time, guest performances, and open play!

HOW

• $60 Daily Drop-In Rate (per child, per day)

• Weekly Cost Options at 5% Discount ($285 total)

• Parents must provide child’s water bottle, lunch, and snacks. We will provide small supplemental snacks, as needed.
